Barlow chuckled over the rim of his shot glass before downing another gulp. "That's mighty white of you," He said in reference to the bottle of Whiskey. "I'll remember your kindness sometime." Setting the glass down he kept a careful eye on Alex as he left the bar, not trusting him enough not to do something stupid. He'd seen what desperate men could do when cornered, and turning your back on someone in that position could cost you gravely. Their relationship had changed considerably from a partnership, friendship to this.. A game. Alex was just a pawn that he played mind games with when there was nothing else better to do. It was quite enjoyable at times, plus there were other benifits then just the mind games of course. And given what he had on his 'friend'? The things he could probably make him do were endless. And best of all there was nothing that could be done, not in this town anyway. Grabbing the whiskey bottle from the bartop, he left the saloon to head back to the Ambrosia Club and though the whiskey was far better there, he never passed up free booze.
