One aspect of the Old West that most people don't realize is the fact it was pretty fashionable for its time! Many Western Movies protray people wearing plain, dark colors and usually dirty or worse. Though this was true in some ways, the fact was the clothes that men and women wore in the old west were at times quite colorful, and well made. Cowboys were known to wear bright reds and blues, and of course there were business men and gamblers with fine suits and frock coats, and the ladies? Well in the bigger boom towns ((Like Tombstone)) had the latest Paris fashions sold from the back of wagons! Possibly one of the most accurate portrayal of life in the old west can be seen in the movie Tombstone ((1993)) where the clothes, saddles, and everything imaginable was well researched and replicated for the movie. GIven that clothes make the man or woman, I thought it wise to include links to some companys that produce clothing for the popular cowboy action scene for some ideas. www.cowboyactionshooting.org/links5.html.html#CLOTHINGwww.texasjacks.com/
