Bartender/Barmaid
What would the Old West be without a good ol fashion Bartender or Barmaid at the local Saloon? Given the wild times at various saloons during this period, a Bartender would certainly see some interesting moments
Black Smith
The all important Black Smith played a key role in the lives of most people in the old west, creating tools and hardware for the masses as well as shoeing horses. This could be considered quite a vital occupation.
Business Owner
Maybe you want your own business? General Store? The Lost Haven Ice Company? Run the Local Bank? Just

Cowboy
Technically there are two definitions of cowboys, the more well known cattle drivers who moved herds of cattle all across the nation and then
there were outlaws who were also known as cowboys.
Doctor
The Methods of Doctors in this period were sometimes a bit crude compared to our current standards, but they were still a life saver to many.
Entertainer
Actors, Actresses, Piano Players and dancers were all quite common around the boom towns of the old west, some were well known
while others were a bit more obscure. The Theaters and Saloons will always be in demand for Entertainers, of course they may have to do sideline 'work' as well.
Gambler
The Life of a Professional Gambler can be quite interesting and quite hazardous as they play the poker and faro tables to make a honest, or perhaps dishonest living.Some men are excllent gamblers, while others are low down card cheats.
Gunsmith
Another important occupation in any town, its your job to repair and sale firearms to the lawful citizens and outlaws alike. And in a town like Lost Haven? Such a job could be quite profitable!
Law Enforcement
Everytown needs a town Marshal and a County Sheriff, though in this era such officials were often corrupt and justice served those who had the right friends, and then in some cases the law really had no control over the chaos that plagued their towns.
Miner
The life blood of the Boomtowns, Miners brought the riches of the underworld to the surface, though a dirty and dangerous job the benefits could be extensive IF you owned your own mine, though
more in likely you're working for someone else.
Outlaws
Cattle rustlers, thieves, killers and robbers the Outlaws do it all just about to make a living.
Prostitute
Prostitution, The worlds oldest profession is alive and well in the west with many brothels operating in various towns. At times prostitues could be useful information brokers, learning tidbits from their clients and then some were clever in taking their cilents for everything they were worth. A nasty job, but someone has to do it.
Prospecter
While some mine it, others look for it. Hordes of people from the east flocked westward to search for Gold, Silver and other valuable minerals in hopes they could either turn their claims into mining operations or atleast sell them to the highest bidder.
Telegraph Clerk
Without the luxury of phones and other communications, The Telegraph station located either at railways or post offices was a vital communication link to the rest of the world. And Lost Haven is
no different.
Undertaker
With high murder rates, The undertakers were always quite busy..
